三、教学步骤与建议
1. 热身/复习(Warm-up / Revision)
1) 师生问好。
T: Good morning / afternoon, children.
Class: Good morning / afternoon, Miss XXX.
T: Nice to see you again!
Class: Nice to see you, too!
2) 教师引导学生运用上一单元所学内容进行自我介绍：
Hello, boys and girls! My name is _____. I’m _____. I come from _____. I live on / in ______.
2. 新课呈现(Presentation)
1) 教师呈现上一单元中的主人公Zhou Pei的图片，在和学生交流她的信息时自然引导学生初步感知本课的重点句型：What’s her name? Her name is Zhou Pei.
2) 教师出示本课主题图，请学生描述图中的内容。可以通过问题引导学生：
T: Who are they?
S: They are Kate and her mum.
T: Who’s that girl?
S: She’s Zhou Pei.
T: What are Kate and her mum talking about? Can you guess?
S: ...
3) 介绍完主题图后，教师先提出以下几个问题，让学生带着问题观看课文视频：
What does mum ask Kate?
What does Zhou Pei look like? Is her hair long or short?
What does Kate think of Zhou Pei?
4) 在回答问题的过程中教师带领学生描述Zhou Pei的外貌特征：She has big eyes and long hair.在回答What does Kate think of Zhou Pei?问题时，引导学生感知pretty和clever。请学生结合班上同学的实际情况谈一谈：…is pretty. She has big eyes and a small mouth. /… is clever. He is good at maths.
3. 趣味操练(Practice)
1) 多种方式引导学生体验、模仿Just talk中的语句。
2) 引导学生分角色表演对话，巩固语言。
3) 练习自编的歌谣。
