Bald Strong collected some public signs. What do they mean? Look at the first one, there's a camera with a red line across it. It means No photos. how about the second one?

*

Different signs are used in different places. Bald Strong cannot just put all of them in his forest. Here is a matching game. Let's match the signs with the places.

*

Open your books, turn to page72, Part A2. Here is more information about the places where the signs are seen. Listen to the conversation and complete it.

Listen again? Ok let's check the answers. where is a no smoking sign usually seen? Where can we see a no photo sign? How about a no parking sign? Where is no littering used?

These four signs each have a red line across the picture. What do they mean? They all warn us not to do sth.

*

With your help, Bald Strong has known public signs very well. He is talking about signs with the bear. Work in pairs to complete their coversation.

*

besides these, there are other signs of different uses. For example, these signs can show us the way. where are these usually seen? yes, in the park. they cannot only show us the way, but also tell us different places around us.

*

What are these used for? they warn us that something is dangerous or poisonous and protect us from danger.

*

Bald Strong cannot remember so much information at once. Let's listen to a conversation and make some notes for him. Pay attention to two questions: What are the signs like? What are their uses?

Listen again? Let't check the answers. They are often bright in colours, such as red and yellow. To keep us safe, that means to protect us. To warn us not to do means to advise us in a strict way.

*

Very good. Now have you known well the public signs? Turn to page 73, Part A3. Use your knowledge to complete the report on public signs.

*

Do you like to go to places like parks and museums in your free time? Where would you like to go?

Now more and more people like going to different places to have fun in their free time. But some of them cannot behave themselves in public. Here is another video. Who are those pandas? Yes, Chinese. Some foreigners look down on us because of our bad manners. How do you feel?

So Bald Strong invites you to choose a public place and make a poster to ask people behave themselves.

Your poster can include pictures, strict rules or friendly advice.

Group one, which place do you choose?

*

Here is a possible sample. But remember to use English!
