Located in the north of Shanxi, DaTong has a population of about 3.4 million people and covers an area of 14176 square kilometers. It is the second largest city of Shanxi and famous as one of the China’s ancient capital. So there are many places of interest worth paying a visit, such as Yungang Grottoes,Hengshan mountain, Xuankong temple, ancient city wall, Shanhua temple and so on.. Besides, it is also called the city of delicious food. Apart from the main food, steam bun and rice, here are also many kinds of special foods, such as sliced noodles, mutton hot pot and bean jelly. More importantly, due to developed transport, it’s convenient for you to take buses, subways and taxis to any place where you want to go.

Without doubt, Datong leaves people a good impression because it enjoys a rapid development of economy and tourism and people living here are friendly, polite and hospitable.
