Trees are very important.
First, trees are major fighters against air pollution. They
keep the air cool and clean. They take in harmful gases
from the air and produce oxygen for people to breathe.
Trees also provide us with shade(树荫)so that we won’t feel
too hot in summer. Second, trees also provide people with
a lot of things. Many kinds of fruits come from trees. Some
of our school things are made of wood, such as paper and
pencils. Third, trees can protect the environment by
keeping the soil from being washed away and by stopping
sandstorms.
