Step2 Presentation

New words:

1、T shows a picture about windy weather and asks“What's the weather like?” Ss: It's windy (help Ss answer)

Teach the word windy

2、Teach cloudy and snowy in the same way.(Phonics teaching)

3、Ss read the new words in pairs for 1 minute.

4、Play games to practice the words: listen and guess weather、look the pictures and guess the weather、activities in Seewo 5

New sentence:

1、T: All these words are about weather. Teach the word weather.

2、T:If you want to know the weather, you can ask “What's the weather like?”(Teach the new sentence)

3、Show some pictures about weather. T asks and Ss answer or exchange.

4、Ask and answer the weather in some cities in pairs.

Step3 Practice

Part A

Let Ss listen and try to answer the questions: How many weather words do you hear? What are they?

Let Ss open the book, listen and circle the weather words.

And ask a student to read them.

Listen and repeat.

Listen and try to remember.

Try to act it out in pairs.

Step 4 Consolidation

1、Make a summary.

2、Copy the new words. T should give the example. And T should emphasize some letters writing.

snowy教学反思本节课由复习已学第八单元的天气单词sunny、rainy、cold、warm、cool、hot及句型 I like a ...day和 I don’t like a...day引入,带出第九单元新的天气单词windy、cloudy、snowy和新句型What’s the weather like?及回答 It’s...。最后通过听、圈、读、演来学习课文A部分练习所学单词和句型,巩固新知识。

本节课的目标基本完成,但有一些不足之处,体现在以下几个方面:1、巩固单词部分三个希沃5课堂活动游戏有点偏多,可以删减1个。2、句子练习不够导致后面学习课文A部分时,学生在分角色表演对话时,少数学生因为不会读新句型What’s the weather like?不敢举手表演。

3、单词教学时,没有把句子融入进来,学生缺少感知,导致后面句子学习有点着急。
