七、教学过程

Step 1:Greetings

Play the video of “Dad, where are we going” MTV for students, and say “Good Afternoon, every one, class begin!” to all students.

拉近与学生的心理距离;努力创设活跃、积极、轻松英语学习氛围。

Step 2:Warming up&Lead-in

Picture presentation --- ask students to look at the pictures and show them the talents been showed in the pictures make people unique, and ask students, do you have any talents? What makes you unique?

【设计意图】通过简单词汇构成的日常英语,巧妙地过渡并导入本节主题-----What makes you unique?

Step 3Pre-reading

New words teaching

Teach the new words and phases. Make sure the students can read them correctly. And know the meaning of each word.

【设计意图】为学生教授新课的单词和短语,为下一环节的阅读奠定基础。

Step 4:Listening

Brief-listening

Scan the questions and make sure students understand the main idea, then answer the choosing-questions. Before listening, students can make a guess about the listening context.

Careful-listening

Ask the students to follow mp3 to remember and write down the second dialogue, and fill the blanks.

Check their answers.

Give the students some explanations when necessary so as to help the students to understand the passage better.
