八、教学过程:

Step 1 Expect(5min)

Match the sentences to summarize object clauses.

Ask students to fill in the blanks to practise the use of different tenses in object clause.

设计意图:呈现并操练本模块语法----宾语从句中的时态问题。

Step 2 Experience (10min)

Play a game to check if the object clauses are right or wrong.

Ask students to finish the multiple choices in their computers to check if they have learnt to use different tenses.

设计意图:游戏环节增强学习兴趣,运用平板电脑完成练习,及时反馈学习效果。

3.Ask the students to read the interview of a presenter and complete the notes. They can take a picture by computer if they have finished.

4. Have a review of Unit 2 which is also the experience of a presenter. Then ask the students to complete the same form as Unit 2 to make a time order of the experience of Bernard in groups. Ask one student in each group to retell the experience of Bernard.

设计意图:运用图表,清晰明了表示作者经历,梳理文章脉络,为写作做好铺垫。

Step 3 Express (10min)

Ask students to write a passage including two things: 1.What is your hobby? 2. How did you get interested in it? Ask them first fill in the same form as Unit 2 to make a clear outline of their passages. Then ask some of them to say their own experiences according to the form.

Step 4 Evaluate (5min)

1.Ask students to find out some sentences showing the writer’s love of the radio both in Unit2 and Unit 3 and try to use them in their own passages.

2. Talk about students’ dreams or ideal jobs and what they should do to encourage them to work hard for their dreams.

Homework

Write your passage down, take a picture and upload it.
