1. Warming-up
A guessing game: show three sentences
a. It’s a country.
b. It’s the largest English-speaking country in the southern part of the world.
c. It was the host of the Olympic Games in 2000.
Ask the students to guess which country it is. And tell the students I have some photos that I took in Australia.
Grammar learning
以本单元的题目为例，讲解that引导的定语从句的结构以及用法。
I have some photos that I took in Australia last year.
先行词 关系词 定语从句
我有一些去年在澳大利亚拍的照片。
that为关系代词，在从句中代替photos.
Then tell the students: besides the photos, the teacher also has a video of Australia, let’s watch the video together and think of the question, what kind of animal can you see in the video?
After watching the video, the students may answer like this：
I can see a kind of animal.
The animal has a pocket to hold her baby.
Ask the student to think about how to combine the two sentences into one by using attributive clause.
The answer is: I can see a kind of animal that has a pocket to hold her baby.
Then do the following exercises:
I have some photos. I took them in Beijing last year.
The boy is my classmate. He runs fast.
This is a beautiful school. We have studied here for three years.
