Step1: Warming up
Ask and count: T: How many boys are there in our classroom?
Let us count one by one. Boys stand up, when we say the number, you can sit down.
Ss: seventeen boys.
T: This class we will learn Lesson8 First, Second, Third. (板书课题)read after me two times.
Step2: Review
Read them together. (one ~ twelve)
Let us check each other.
Step3: Communication and cooperation
1、Look at the picture: ask and answer who is the first? Who is the second? Who is the third? (学生回答时候，教师出示first , second, third单词卡片认读，并领读句子，随机将卡片贴入板书的房子里。)
Li Ming is the first .The girl is the second .The boy in red shorts is the third.
2、观看ppt基数词和序数词表格讲解four 变fourth 以及发音。再引导学生观察five变fifth以及发音。
3、Learn the rest of the new numbers in your group and write down in different circles.(先自学sixth , seventh , eighth , ninth , tenth , eleventh , twelfth.，然后组内用不同方式读单词，小组交流识记规律。)
4、汇报展示：T: Who can help me put up the cards in different rooms?(师随机指名几个学生上来把单词卡片贴在不同的房间。)
5、师引导分析识记规律。
6、Let us play the piano and sing 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 1.(师随机指名8位学生站成一行，然后一起唱，随即停下，请学生用Sb is the 序数词说句子,反复操练几次。)
Step4: Practice
1、Please finish the part2:
Read and match. You can try to say: …is the … month in your group.
2、Pair work:
Let us say the months of the year. (教师将准备好的序数词卡片和月份单词卡片随机发给几个组，比如教师说：May is the fifth month. 拿单词May和fifth卡片的俩个学生需立刻举起所对应的单词，并大声读出单词。师指名学生说句子，其余学生照样子操练句型，反复几次，学生就能比较熟练的掌握重点句式。)
