Step 1 :Leading-in

Greatings: Hello boys and girls.

Hello teacher.

We have already learned a story about little Zeke. It’s lesson 18: Little Zeke sends an Email. Li Ming, Danny and Jenny don’t know who little Zeke is.

Today we will study another story about little Zeke. It’s Lesson 24: a Gift for Little Zeke.

Step2: Look at the pictures and try to understand the story. There are nine dialogues in this text. Teacher helps students to understand the text with raising questions from each dialogue.

1:Where does little Zeke live?

2:Who gives little Zeke a hamburger and some milk?

3:Who is Tom?

What did Mrs. Jones give Tom?

4: What did Mrs. Jones give Emma?...

Step3:

Study the dialogues one by one.

Step4:

The main sentences:

She worked on a picture with her new crayons.

He doesn’t talk to Mrs. Jones.

Step5: Listen to the story.

Step 6: Try to retell the story to you partners. Then show to others.
