Step 1、Pre-reading
Guessing game: Where is the ball?
Ask and answer: New sentence pattern: Is it in/on/under ......? Yes,it is. No,it isn’t.
Learn the new words:cap,toy car
Step 2、While reading
Questions:
a. What is Mike looking for? (Mike正在找什么?)
b. Where is the cap?
Students listen to the tape. Try to answer the questions. Check the answers.
Students read after the tape.Read in roles.
Step 3、After reading
Students try to act the dialogue. 鼓励学生分角色表演故事。允许对故事进行改编。
