Purpose

Step 1 Greetings

Say hello to students; simply introduce myself, and talk with students.

Divide students into two teams: “Chen Jie” & “John”, let them compete with the other team for rewards.

Say hello to new teacher;

Get familiar with students quickly;

Encourage them to answer my questions actively.

Step 2 Warm-up and lead-in

Sing a song “Apple Red” together with students, accompanying dancing movements.

Stand up and sing together with teacher.

Warm up class atmosphere and introduce the theme of this lesson--- “fruit” to students.
