【学情分析】

六年级学生已具有一定的课外知识，可以上网找寻所需资料，初步了解各种地方学生上学的方式并非自己所知道的那么少。而本课时就通过图文再结合所学的知识，学习各个国家学生上学的不同方式，让学生了解到世界上因地形与气候等方面的影响，学生上学的方式各异；从中也了解到有些地方小孩子上学的方式是存在某些风险的，要懂得保护自己，珍惜生命。

【教学过程】

I. Revision and introduction

复习学过的上学方式，激活已有的知识储备，为文本阅读做好铺垫。

看着图片，说说交通灯及其交通规则

II. Presentation

Pre-reading

1.They are the different ways to go to school. And please look at this picture . Who is he？What is Robin doing? What’s the passage about?That’s our topic today. (板书课题)

2. (Show the first picture.)What can you see in the picure?How do they go to school?

3. (Show the second picture.) What’s this? It’s a sled. (Pay attention to the prounciation.) Learn to say the new phrase.Do you come to school by sled? Maybe some children go to school by sled.

4. (Show the third picture.) Learn to say:by ferry

5. (Show the fourth picture.) Guess: How do they go to school?
