1)T: Do you want to know how to get to my school?(借助于图片复习本单元已学过的路径表达方式)

2)T:The students in my school are very friendly and helpful. Look! This is a photo of Suzy, she is one of my students, she’s going to invite us to her birthday party at her home. This is an invitation letter.(展示一张邀请卡)

设计意图:通过结合自身情况的介绍,很自然地过渡到文中的主人公“Suzy”,利用图片和对话的方式激发学生的兴趣,再次导入本课的主题“邀请函”。

设计意图:结合中考听力题型,把文章用填表格的方式呈现,让学生学会捕捉信息,填写关键词。

2) Group Work: Read the invitation letter and discuss: How many parts are there in an invitation letter? ( How to write an invitation letter?)

设计意图:设计任务,明确要求,发挥学生的主体作用,小组合作讨论,得出邀请信的格式和内容,教师借助于PPT补充和概括。

3)Group Work: Mark the route(How to get to Suzy’s home?)

T:Do you want to go to Suzy’s party? Where’s her home? How can we go there? Now ,please work in groups ,with the help of the invitation ,please try to find the way to her home? Let’s see which route is the fastest and easiest?
