Step 1. Lead in

1. Have a dictation about the words and phrases in Unit5.

2. Check the words and phrases.

(Intention: A dictation can help students to review the important language points in Unit5.)

Step 2. Presentation

1. Present a chart to show some of the mistakes students made.

2. Some of the mistakes:

(Intention: It’s easy for us to get the most mistakes students made according to a chart.)

Step 3. Question time

1. Ask students to raise their problems they don’t understand.

2. Divide students into 4 groups. Encourage students to explain the problems they mastered. The one who answers a question can get one point for their group.

(Intention: Ask students to try to explain some points to their classmates. Students may be happy to solve their own problems in class.)

Step 4. Practice
