1)? New words : advice, habit, opposite, librarian, classical

2)? Phrases: receive as gifts, reading habits, collect information for a report,

ask sb for advice, discuss what to read,open up a whole new world to me,….

Sentences: I spend over seven hours a week reading different types of books.

We often meet together and discuss what to read.

Teaching procedures:

Step One: Warm-up

Exchange greetings with the students.

2) Enjoy some pictures of different types of books.

Step Two: Presentation

1) To learn some new words and phrases.

Have a free talk about reading habits with the students and teach the new words and phrases.

2) Practice (PK game).

2) Discuss how to write this diary.

Read and match the main ideas.
