Step one : warm-up and lead in (about 5mins)

Activity : Wacth a video and lead-in

T : Boys and girls, we’ve been talking about protecting the environment. When is the World Environment Day? The theme for last year’s Environment Day is Connecting people to Nature. Last year , our president Xi also made calls for environment protection.watch carefully and find some key words for the theme.

(Green China, clear hills and green mountains...)

What is Switzerland like?

It is a beautiful country with high mountains and clean blue lakes.

(T : How do people keep it that way?)

Design purpose: firstly, to set up a real language environment, and also to active the students and create a relaxing atmosphere , then lead in further thinking

Step two: presentation (about 25mins)

S: there are three ways: recycling laws and new energy

(T: What can be recycled in Switzerland ? Before recycling, what should people do?)

People should separate them into different groups.

(show some pictures) T:some girls like to make bags or toys from old clothes, is that cool? In my neighbourhood, there is an old-clothes bin for recycling. We can also put them into it. Then they will be sent to the people in need.
