Step 1 Lead-in
Teacher says: We have learnt about six famous people in “welcome to the unit”. Do you remember who they are?
T shows some pictures and say out their names：(1)Thomas Edison ,an inventor, invented over 1,000 inventions;(2)Christopher Columbus, an explorer, one of the first Europeans to discover America；(3)William Shakespeare，a writer ，a great writer of English literature；（4）Nelson Mandela，a president ，a fighter for the rights of black Africans all his life；（5）Peter Tchaikovsky，a composer，a composer of classical music；（6）Qian Xuesen，a scientist，the pioneer of China’s space technology programme。
T says: Today we are going to learn about a great person in aerospace history. Do you know who was the first man to walk on the Moon?

Step 2 Presentation
