1.Ask students to look at the pictures on their books,then ask a question：Have you read these books? Do you know these books? They may give me different answers.

2. Ask students to answer a question:What do you think of these books?Then ask some students to share their ideas.They may give me answer like :Alice in wonderland is interesting.

Step3.While –listening

Ask students to look at the chart in1b,then they need to listen and complete the chart .I will ask some students to give their answers and check the answers.

Ask students to read the conversation in 1c together;Then ask boys and girls role-play the conversation;Next,they need to work in pair and make their own conversations .They can talk about the other books in1a. I will give them 3 minutes to discuss.Finally,ask some students to show their conversations.

As for 2a and 2b,students need to listen for three times .For the first time,students need to find the main idea of the listening material .For the second time,they need to finish the tasks in 2a and 2b.The last time,they are asked to give their answers and I will check their answers.

Step4:Post-listening

Ask students to work in pair .First,they need to read the conversation in 2c together,then they need to make their own conversations.I will give them 5 minutes to discuss.Finally some students are asked to show their conversations.

Step5:Summary and exercise

Ask students to think about what they have learned today ,then they need to read the sentences on PPT.

Ask students to do some exercise on ppt,then they need to give me their answers,finally I will check their answers.

Step6:Homework

Ask students to write down something they know about Robinson Crusoe.
