五、教学过程

Step1: Greetings and lead- in.

Sing a song ?Ten Little Indians.

T: There are some numbers in this song. Can you write the numbers from 1 to 9 . Can you say the numbers from 10 to 100 ?

(小学课本学过1-50,检查学生对学过的基数词的掌握程度,以便有针对性地加强个别数词的学习。)

Step2: presentation.

1. Use the media to show pictures about food and clothes ,then present the numbers10-31.For example:

T: How much is the blue sweater?

Ss: It is $10. Use the same way to teach the others.

2. Listen and repeat.(1a)(?通过让学生听磁带原声来指导发音,有利于学生说纯正的英语。)

3. (1b)

①Write the numbers in 1a next to the correct words. Then check the answer by reading the numbers loudly.

②Which rows of numbers are in the wrong place?

③.Talk about some numbers ' special meanings in China and some foreign countries .?

④. Work in groups and try to find out the rules in the numbers.

a. one, ...... ten ,eleven ,twelve?? (1至12应逐个记忆 )

b. thirteen, ..fifteen, .....eighteen....( 13至19均在个位数后加-teen, 发/ ti:n / )

c. twenty, thirty,.... ?(20至90均在个位后加-ty , 发/ ti / )

d. twenty-one,,,,, twenty-nine(“几十几”要在个位数和个位数之间加连字符,读and )(由于基数词的变化有一定的规律,注意引导学生发现数词的构成规律,有利于更容易地掌握基数词。?)

Step3: Learning tasks.
