Teaching Procedures:
Step1: Introduction
Say important points about writing a passage.
Step2: Show Time
Give students a sample about “Improve the Traffic Situation” and analyze the whole passage one by one.
Step3: Sum up the writing procedures about this kind of composition.
(search for important words; think of useful phrases; make up sentences carefully.)
Step4: Practice Time
. Give students some tips about the topic;
. Divide the students into 6 groups to write answers according to the hints.
. Ask one student of each group to write answers on the blackboard.
. Check students’ answers and if necessary, correct them.
Step5: Summary
Reflect what we have learnt this class.
Step6: Homework
. Recite important words and phrases;
. Finish the composition after class.
