Step I Lead-in (3 mins)
Show several pictures of some people from different walks, as well as a song Be What You Wanna Be about dreams and life goals to guide the students to think and talk about their own dreams or ambitions, and then lead in the topic.
Step II Revision and Pre-reading ( 6 mins)
Read the words and expressions in Introduction part of Module 4 and fast recollect. And then take a quiz.
Step III While-reading
Skimming (5 mins)
Watch the video of the text. Deal with the questions in the form and have a general understanding of Yuan Longping.
Careful Reading(10 mins)
Divide the text into 3 parts and read them carefully one part by one part. Design different exercises according to the contents of the three parts.
