Step one leading-in
Boys and girls, in last period, we knew something about the monster, such as: The bigfoot The Yeti The Loch Ness Monster The Grey Monster(Make the students answer together). And in this period, we will go on to learn something about another monster. Now, look the picture please! (show the picture of Tianchi) Where is it? The students will answer together”Tianchi” ……
Step two Presentation
Ask the students to read the text and translate the text , one paragraph for each member of the group, when meeting difficulty, they can discuss or help each other.
Ask one individual of each group to translate one paragraph, if he does it well,he can gain one point to three points for his group.
Language points
Show the language points to the students on the screen,and ask the students to fill in the blanks. They can discuss if necessary. After that , ask one individual of each group to finish their task, if he does it well, he can gain one to three points.
