二、学情分析
授课对象是高一年级第二学期的学生，虽然他们对自己所学的所有学科有所偏好，但他们并不知道一个极小的定律，一个极小的概念都可能滴一个科学家毕生的心血，一个极小的发明都可能改变整个世界的发展，通过学习这篇文章让学生了解科学家们献身科学，追求真理，为人类的幸福和进步不懈奋斗的精神。
三、设计思路
本堂课采用任务型教学途径，这种途径是以应用为动力，以应用为目的，以应用为核心（为用而学，用中学，学了用）的教学途径。任务型教学是一种以人为本的，能体现语言价值的，先进的、有效的教学途径。学生带着任务学习，在完成任务的过程中逐渐生成的知识，形成的技能。本课将通过任务型教学，努力达到课堂活动目的。
四、教学重点和难点
1．教师帮助学生快速阅读文章，使学生在有限的时间完成对文章整体上的把握。
2. 教学中培养了学生了解科学家对国家，对社会的巨大贡献，树立正确的人生观和价值观。

Knowledge and Skills
Train the students’reading ability.
Learn some useful words an expressions.
Learn some information about the famous scientist.
Process and Strategies
Make the students know more about Yuan Longping and let the students learn his spirits of diligence and perseverance.
Feelings and Value
The students will surely have a better understanding of this famous scientist and learn a lot from him and make contributions to our country.
