Step 1. Lead-in

1. Greet the class as usual.

2. Look at some pictures of some actors or actress and ask what does he/she look like

Step 2. Presentation and work on 1a

1. Show students pictures of face to learn the phrases: a big nose, a big mouth, a big face, big eyes...

2. Read the words together and give students time to memorize the words.

3. Match the words with the pictures in the screen.

4. Invite some students to read out their answer (pay attention to “big eyes” )

Step 3. Work on 1b

1. Read through the sentences together.

2. Work with a partner to complete the sentences

3. Invite different students to present their names to the class (the more the better).

Step 5. Work on 1c and 1b

1. Observe the chart first and predict what will they talking about

2. Listen for the first time to finish 1c

3. Listen again to work on 1d

4. Answer checking

5. Listen for the last time while looking at the transcript
