Have a competition to arouse students’ interest in ads and go over what they’ve learned about two types of ads.

Step 2. Language items teaching:

I. Read a short passage about the feature of commercial ads, thus highlighting four expressions :“persuade sb to do sth; play tricks on sb; fool sb. into doing sth, fall for sth.”.

II. Explain important language items to students in related contexts and instruct students to apply the items through various tasks.
