Teaching analysis:
When in Grade seven, the students have learnt some frequency words and have had some general knowledge about them. Thus, it’s not very difficult for them to master the words. But ,some of them may have forgotten the usage of them. In this unit, it’s a good chance for them to grasp the usage of the frequency words thoroughly.

Teaching procedures:
Step1: lead-in.
T: Before we have class, let’s watch a video about sports at first.
T: Do you like this video?

T:Do you like sports?

T:I like sports. I do exercise every day. How often do you exercise? Can you understand how often? Today we will learn to talk about how often you do things.
Step2: Presentation.
Task1:work on 1a
Look at the picture in 1a.Make a list of the weekends activities.
Task2: learn the new words.
Task3: Sum up the usage of the frequency words.
Besides the new frequency words we learnt just now, the teacher guides the students to review the frequency words we learnt before and sums up the usage of them with the students.
Task4: work on 1b. Finish the listening task.
Step3: Practice.
Task1: Do some oral practice.
Task2: Finish the pair work in 1c.
Task3: Ask the students to complete the blanks with the frequency words.
