学情分析:

The students come from senior one, who have basic?English learning ability after their one-year High School learning. And they are familiar with reading lesson. As the teenagers of this century, most of them have lots of pocket money and they always waste them on goods or services which are not necessary. In other words, they need a more appealing and meaningful way to spend money. At the same time, some of them

seldom realize the importance of protecting environment. The lesson will help them be aware that they can protect the world by using even a little money.

教学重点:

Students understand the article and get some detailed information?to answer some questions.

教学难点:

Students need to be encouraged to voice their opinions about the use of pocket money both before and after reading.

教学过程及设计意图:

?Lead-in(导入,3分钟)问题导入

新课导入:通过图片激发学生兴趣,导入新课。让学生回答下列问题:

(1)How do you spend your pocket money?

(2)Would you like to spend the five yuan in a more meaningful way?

(通过问题,让学生分畅所欲言,积极思考,从而引出本课的主题。)

新课讲授新授阅读理解:a)语言材料的输入与内化。b)目标语言的输出。

Pre-reading(读前,4分钟)

Ss predict?what will be talked?about in the article based on the titles, pictures above and the paragraph in italics. Then, read the whole text to check their prediction.
