Learner description:

The target learners are freshmen from Yinchuan NO.1 High School. At this time, learners have already grasped the basic usage of English, therefore are in the intermediate stage of language learning. However, specifically speaking, their language proficiency varies. To encourage participation of all students, they are randomly given the chance to answer the questions.

The listening and reading tell the story of Freddy and his band. The whole story is based loosely on the story of the Beatles, which they are quite familiar with during the previous learning.
