Teaching procedures
Step 1 Leading in
Review the reading passage A TRIP ON “THE TRUE NORTH and use some sentences in it to lead in the grammar point.
Step 2 Observing
Guide the students to observe sentences with appositive clauses and try to help them make it clear what an appositive clause is as well as its function and structure.
Step 3 Practicing
