Step 1. Lead in: Video Show of Canada (students will have an impressive picture of Canada)

To get an visual impression of Toronto and Montreal ,especially the splendid Niagara Fall.

Step 2. Revision

Check the learning paper students did before class. Ask the students to answer the questions one by one .( A well_ prepared prevision helps stents to learn by themselves and get ready to learn new knowledge )

Step 3 Listening

1, Ss listen to the tape and underline the following plot. (These clues will help them retell the passage.)
