Part One Lead in
Ask the Ss to listen to the song called “the end of world” and find out the common thing from the following three lyrics “shining, singing, beating”
Part Two V-ing as Subject
1 Show the some sentences in which there are v-ing acted as subject to the students, with some related pictures
(1)Playing basketball is a good way to keep healthy.
(2)Working with you is a pleasure.
(3)Being woken up by roommates too early makes some students mad.
(4)Not having finished homework makes some students worried.
2 Make a conclusion how to use v-ing as Subject for the students
