人教2003课标版《Learning about Language》集体备课教案优质课下载

The change in the system of grammar leads to the inadaptation of the traditional teaching method in grammar learning. The teacher can’t just simply list out the grammar rules and structures, on the contrary, they should guide the students to find out the usages and rules in contents through observation, induction and comparison, thus to confirm their learning in practice.

Meanwhile, guiding students to know how to use grammar rules and analyze the sentence structures through the cooperative and communicative learning, the teacher should switch roles to lay stress on the subjective initiative of the students as well as their participation in the class and attach importance to the improvement of their learning abilities.

Analyses of the students and teaching content:

The senior students have already know V-ing as Subject and Object, but they are poor at analyzing sentence as well as using it in real contents and is still not good at using correct forms to express their likes and dislikes freely and properly. This period, the teacher tries to get them to use various sentence patters and advanced vocabulary to describe a person’s likes and dislikes. Besides, the teacher is to reorganize the teaching materials in the text book and set assignments to each part with the purpose of getting students to know what V-ing as Subject and Object is and how to use it freely based o task-based learning and communicative learning.

Target language:

1. The students can grasp the following words and phrases:

Be interested in, be fond of, be good at, be crazy about, have a strong desire to do

put one’s heart to, be absorbed/buried in, focus/concentrate/fix…..on, be devoted to, work hard at ……, be crazy about, make progress in, look forward to…

2. The students can use the sentence patterns freely and correctly:

I’m fond of / I’m interested in…

I like/ enjoy/ prefer/ hate /dislike…

My favorite music/ sport is…

… interest me most

…is my hobby/ interest/ favorite.

….is what I like most.

3. The students can describe his own likes and dislikes and learn to introduce the person they admire using V-ing forms.

Ability goals:

1. To develop the students’ reading speaking and writing abilities.

2. To train and improve the language competence of the students, thus to improve their ability in acquiring, processing and analyzing messages so as to grasp them appropriately with what they learned.

3. The students learn to use –ing as Subject &Object to describe themselves and others familiar to them freely and correctly.

Emotional goal:

Through discussion different pictures of social activities, stimulate the passion for loving their families, teachers, their school and their school study, etc.

Help the students to foster the correct outlook of life and the values.
