①There are various kinds of theme parks, with a different park for almost everything: food, culture, science, cartoons, movies or history.

②Whichever and whatever you like, there is a theme park for you!

③With all these attractions, no wonder tourism is increasing wherever there is a Disneyland.

▲ Enable the students to know something about the various theme parks and learn about the difference between a theme park and a traditional park.

▲Enable the students to read the reading passage as a whole, understand the structure of the text, and grasp the main idea of the text. (skimming)

▲ Enable the students to find out some detailed information (facts) and finish some related exercises.(scanning)

▲ Train the students to guess the meanings of some new words.

E.g. according to the way of word-building (word-formation) or through the context, guess the meanings of the following words: whichever, whatever, craftsman; various, free-fall drops.
