《Warming up、Pre-reading、Reading、Comprehending》优质课教案下载

本单元以Theme parks 为话题,旨在通过本单元的教学,使学生了解分散于世界各地的各种各样的主题公园,学会向别人介绍某个景点的大体情况,以及计划各项活动,同时培养学生对世界及生活的热爱。Warming up通过向学生呈现四个风格各异的世界著名主题公园,激发学生学习本单元的兴趣。Pre-reading 通过学生对主题公园里活动的想象,交流了解主题公园的有关知识。Reading 通过介绍世界各地形式各异的主题公园概况,使学生了解风格迥异的各国主题公园。因本节课重点强调的是阅读能力,故将Warming-up, Reading, Comprehending合在一起设计成一节“精读课”。

二.学情分析

本节课的教学对象是高一(1)班的学生,学生虽然经过一个学期的学习,但是大部分学生的英语基础知识和基本技能较弱,因此在课堂上学生会出现因不自信而不敢张嘴的情况,因此,我利用一张丹寨龙泉山的照片来引起学生的兴趣,在设计阅读活动时设法降低题目的难度,让学生能顺利完成阅读任务,增加自信。并利用一些句型结构帮助学生顺利地表达自己的观点。

三.教学设计

Teaching goals:

1. Knowledge and ability

1. To enable the students to learn how to introduce a theme park.

2. To enable the students to know something about the various theme parks all over the world and understand the difference between parks and theme parks.

2. Process and strategies

To train the students’ ability to skim, scan and predict the text.

3. Feelings and value

1. To help the students know that theme parks can offer us not only amusement, but also all kinds of knowledge and exciting experiences.

2. To develop the students’ sense of cooperative learning.

Teaching important and difficult points

1. How to guide the students to use different reading strategies to solve the questions in reading activities.

2. How to help the students introduce a theme park.

Teaching methods

Task-based teaching method, Group work, Discussion, Skimming, Scanning and Prediction.

Teaching aids

A blackboard, a projector and some slides.

Teaching procedures

Step 1 Lead-in

T: Good morning, everyone! Now please look at the picture on the screen. Where is it? Can we call it a park? What is a park for?

(Suggested answer: A park is a place for people to relax, have fun, exercise, and so on.)

T: Have you ever been to any other parks in China? I will show you some pictures of parks. Please tell me what we can enjoy there?
