【Teaching Procedures】

Step 1: lead-in

Show a video about a dance-lover student. Ask the students to pay attention to the sentences she has used Passive Voice. Then finish the chart according to these sentences.

一般式

进行式

完成式

现在时

过去时

将来时

Step 2: Review different tenses of the Passive Voice

Show some pictures, ask the students to observe and rewrite the given sentences. The last six sentences are to lead in the Passive Voice of the Infinitive. The teacher will write down the structures on blackboard. And ask the students to read the special aspects by themselves.

动词不定式与被修饰的名词或代词有逻辑上的被动关系,且与句子另一句或代词有逻辑上的主动关系时.

I have a lot of work to do

动词不定式跟在特殊形容词(常见词汇:difficult、easy、hard、comfortable、exciting等)后,与句子主语构成逻辑上的动宾关系,结构为“主语 + be + adj. + to do”时

The orange is good to eat.

某些动词(如blame、let等)的不定式用在be后作表语时

The house is to let.

动词不定式与疑问词连用时

I have no idea which book to read first.
