学生通过练习学会在短文改错,语法填空和写作中对过去分词进行应用。

学生通过本节课的学习,认识到屠呦呦科学家为科学做出的各种努力和奉献,培养学生对科学的热爱。

复习过去分词的各种用法及其应用。

五、教学难点:

过去分词和现在分词的用法区别以及过去分词在写作中的综合应用。

六、教学方法:

任务型教学法,交际教学法,情景教学法。

七、教学辅助手段:

黑板,多媒体白板。

八、教学过程:

I.Read the following passage and underline all the past participles in it. Figure out their grammatical functions in each sentence.

Tu, born in Ningbo, Zhejiang, in 1930, attended Peking University Medical School and graduated in 1955. Later Tu was trained for two and a half years in traditional Chinese medicine.

In 1969, she took part in a secret drug discovery project named "Project 523”, which aimed to find a cure for malaria(疟疾). Astonished by the deadly effect of malaria, she was determined to find a solution. She got inspired from a book written in 340 AD. Then she had a herb(药草) tested in 190 different ways and discovered an effective compound called qinghaosu, or artemisinin. She first had her medicine experimented on herself to ensure it was safe.

Devoted to her research for more than 4 decades, she was finally awarded the Nobel Prize for Medicine. Recognized as the first Chinese woman to win a Nobel Prize, she remains humble(谦虚) about her achievement. After hearing herself awarded the prize, the eighty-five-year old Chinese scientist became quite annoyed as she found her neighborhood surrounded by reporters from all over the country.

设计意图:通过对文本的阅读和过去分词的查找,初步复习过去分词所能充当的各种语法功能。并引入语法的话题。
