〖Step 1〗Lead-in (4minutes)

让学生看一张李华的照片,然后读一个关于李华的故事回答问题Did Li Hua catch the bus? What would have happened if Li Hua hadn't overslept?

It was the first day for Li Hua to go to high school. Li Hua was very excited. He couldn't fall asleep until midnight. So he didn't wake up until 8 o'clock. He missed the bus because he overslept. He hurried to school but he was late. Miss Chan asked him to the office after class. She talked with him until 12:30.When he went to the canteen, there was no food left. How poor Li Hua was!

〖理由〗通过看图片吸引学生的注意力,然后读故事和回答问题引入本节课主题——虚拟语气。

〖Step 2〗Subjunctive mood’s function and structures (4minutes)

Subjunctive Mood is used to express various states of unreality such as wish, emotion, possibility, judgment, opinion, obligation, or action that have not yet occurred.

1. If 从句用did(be动词用were)表示现在或将来,主句用should/would/could/might do表示现在或将来

If 从句用had done表过去, 主句用should/would/could/might have done表示现在或将来

Wish后的宾语从句用 did 表示现在

had done表示过去

would/could/might do表示将来

3. Would rather后的宾语从句用 did 表示现在/将来

had done表示过去

4. 表坚持,命令,建议,要求如

insist/suggest/advise/order/command/demand/require/propose/request that sb (should) do
