4.Get the Ss to become interested in grammar learning

Teaching important point:

Get Ss to master the Attributive Clause introduced by the relative pronouns.

Teaching difficult point:

Enable the Ss to learn how to choose proper relative pronouns.

the usage of whose.

Teaching method:

Discovering ,explaining,summarizing,practising.

Teaching procedures:

Step1.lead—in (approaching grammar )

Show some sentences,try to learn the form of Attributive Clause. And introduce the definition of Attributive Clause.

Step 2,Explaining:

Explaining the form ,the usage of relative pronouns.

Step 3.Practicing

Encourage the Ss to analyse the form,antecedent, usage of relative pronouns.

fill the blanks using correct relative pronouns.

Step 4 consolidation:

1. Enable Ss to join two simple sentences together by using Attributive Clause.They should master the proper approches.

2.Pay attention to the usage of ‘whose’

Step5 summary and practice:

教学反思:定语从句是高中英语教学的一个重要语法,在教学中,先通过呈现来获得其基本形式。要牢记每个关系词的用法及功能,主要通过其指人还是物,在定语从句中作何成分去判断,加以分析。在遇到定语从句习题时,应教会学生基本的步骤,及分清主句和从句,找准先行词,看是人还是物,再看其在定语从句中做何成分来确定。
