三、情感态度价值观目标：

能体会偏远山村孩子生活的不易，进而激发学生珍惜现有生活并努力学习的动力。

四、学习重点：

通过阅读理解重点短语 between…and…、11-year-old 、come true 等短语的意思；能熟练运用句型It is easy to go to school.

五、教学难点：

能够运用fast-reading和detail –reading两种阅读技能自主阅读文本；根据思维导图的提示复述文本。

六、教学过程：

Step1 Free talk

教师出示自己去工作的生活图片，谈论和话题相关的句型，然后用下面的句型和学生交流。

How do you get to school?

How far is it from your home to school?

How long does it take to get to school?

总结，出示图片过渡到新课。

We go to school by bike by car by bus and so on . it is so easy to go to school for us. But for another more students is too difficult . Now look at the pictures.

设计意图：以Free talk 的形式和学生谈论本节课的相关话题，这样既锻炼了学生的听说能力，而且可以很轻松自然地导入新课的主题。并解决重点词汇：ropeway, cross the river.

Step2 Fast-reading

1、Look at the picture and know about the passage.

教师出示图片，通过介绍图片让学生了解文章的大概，设计意图：渲染氛围，激发学生的求知欲望。

2、read the passage and answer the questions.

1、How do the students in the village go to school?

The students go on a ropeway to cross the river to school.

2、Does the boy like his school?

Yes, he does.

3、What’s the villagers’ dream?

It’s their dream to have a bridge.

设计意图：通过问题培养学生快速阅读、跳读的阅读能力。

Step3 Detail –reading

1、read the paragraph 1 and answer the following questions.
