通过学习美国文化的卡通人物象征----Mickey Mouse, 思考中国文化的卡通人物象征，并能总结出我们能够从这个卡通人物身上学得哪些精神。
三、教学设计
Step I Warming-up ：Guessing game.
Task 1.带领学生玩塔罗牌游戏，遮挡卡通人物给出英文提示引导学生猜测塔罗牌后是什么卡通形象，遮挡卡通人物给出英文提示, 翻开三张牌，第一张展示黑猫警长，第二张展示孙悟空，第三章给出英文提示（文中对米老鼠的描述），引出本阅读语篇要讲述的美国卡通形象----米老鼠（Mickey Mouse），同时引出和教授新单词culture、famous.带出文中的原句 1.one symbol of American culture. 2.He has two large round ears. He is really famous all over the world.
T: Boys and girls, have you ever tried Tarots(塔罗牌)? Look at the screen,
I have 3 Tarot Cards here ,do you want to know what are behind them?
S: Yes.
T:Ok,let’s find the answers behind them. Are you ready? Let’s go~
(设计意图：用玩游戏的方式引出阅读文本的主题-----卡通形象米老鼠 Mickey Mouse,激发学生兴趣，同时引入新词和文本中的原句，为接下来的阅读扫除障碍)
Task 2.展示米老鼠图片，询问三个问题：1.What does he look like? 2.What is his girlfriend’s name? 3.Who created Mickey Mouse?引出Walt Disney，并加以介绍-------为第一段的阅读扫除障碍。

3.On November 18, 1978 C. Walt Disney created (创作)87 cartoons .
