1. Look forward to: 期待，盼望后面接名词 或者动名词 I look forward to your good news.我等待 你的好消息。 Look forward to hearing from you.等待你的 来信。/等待你的消息。
2. remember to do 意思是记住去做某事,表示这件事 情还没有做. remember doing 意思是记得做过某事,表示这件事 情还已经做了 Remember to turn off the lights when you leave the room. 在你离开房间之前,记得把灯关了.(现在还没有关灯) I remembered tuning off the lights when I left the room. 我记得我关灯了,当我离开房间的时 候.(灯已经关 了)at the end of by the end of in the end 一、 at the end of 用于表示具体事物或场所的场合，它也可以用来表示比喻意。 at the end of 后边可以跟时间和地点名词，表示“在......末" 如at the end of this month 在这个月末 ,at the end of last month ,at the end of next month ,at the end of the road 在路的尽头 等 The school is situated at the end of the street ．该校位于这条街的尽头。 We'll have an exam in English at the end of January ．一月底我们要参加英语考试。 They were at the end of their patience ．他们忍无可忍。 He is at the end of his wits ．他智穷才尽，束手无策。 二、 By the end of 用于表示时间的场合，往往含有“不迟于”的意味。
值得注意的是，at the end of 亦可用于表示时间的场合（见上面第二个例句） ，但其义和by the end of有所不同。试对比下面两例： at the end of January 一月底（指一月份的最后一天） by the end of January 一月底之前（指一月份结束前的几天） We are to complete the task by the end of the year ． 年底之前我们必须完成此项任务。 Their communication is at an end ．他们的交往到此为止。 by the end of 是“到......末”的意思，后边跟不同的时间会有不同的含义 和用法 。A 跟将来的时间，就用一般将来时，如 By the end of next month，I will finish reading this book.(到下个月末，我将 读完这本书）。 B 跟现在的时间，就用现在完成时，如 By the end of this week ,I have written two books .( 到这个星期末， 跟过去的时间，用过去完成时 ? By the end of last month ,I had planted thousands of trees.(到上个 月末，我已经种了数千棵了） ? 三、 ? in the end ? 的涵义是“终于”、“最后”，其义相当于at last。 ? 例： ? I'm sure everything will turn out satisfactory in the end ? ．我确信，最后一切都会令人满意的。 ?
