【教学环节与活动】

1. Activity 1 :

Warming up game: Jerry is going to …(萝卜蹲)

Four groups stand for four place: Zhuahi Theatre, Haibin Park, Haibin Beach, Lovers’ Road, when they hear their place, they should band their knees and say the sentence: Haibin Park, Haibin Park, Jerry is going to Haibin park.

(设计意图: 在课堂开始让学生明白本课以Tom和Jerry作为本课的主线,并以Jerry is going to … 句型加入Haibin Park , Zhuhai theatre等本地的名称,进一步强化学生对这些地名的认识,为后面的任务作铺垫。)

2. Activity 2

Review the new words of this unit. Play the “Look Read and Touch”game(打地鼠)

Two students use a book, when they see Jerry’s picture on the word, they should read and touch the word with their parents. The faster one wins the game.

(设计意思:通过这个游戏可以快速地帮助学习激活本课新词的储存,为后面Tom的计划做准备。).

3. Activity 3 Talk about Tom’s May Day plan

Use the new words’ pictures to show Tom’s May Day plan, boys are Tom, girls are Jerry, read in roles to review the sentence patterns of this unit.

Jerry: What are you going to do during the vacation?

Tom: I am going to have a picnic on May 1st.

Jerry: Are you going to make models?

Tome: No, I am going to play games.

(设计意思:通过男生女生角色扮演Tom and Jerry的对话,从对话过渡到语篇了解Tom的五一计划,帮助学生初步建立语篇意识。)

Activity 4 Talk about Jerry’s May 1st’s plan

Jerry: May Day vacation is coming. I am going to China. Goodbye, Tom!

Tom: What’s your May Day plan?

Show a Wechat picture about Jerry and Amy’s conversation, ask the students to read the thinking map ,finish the exercise and find out the first day’s plan.

(设计意思:微信在日常生活中是常用的交流工具,通过Jerry 与Amy的微信对话,呈现Jerry的第一天计划,也初步呈现整体思维导图,通过练习学习阅读思维导图的,为后面制作思维导图做准备。)

Activity 5 Talk about Jerry’s May 2nd’s plan

Read the Wechat conversation and learn about the second day plan, show some places of interest in Zhuhai: Finshing gril, Zhuhai Theatre, Haibin Park, Haibin Beach, Lover’s Road, then listen to the recording to finish the exercise.

(设计意图:通过在微信对话中,插入音频让学生通过练习了解第二天计划,既符合微信语音功能的特点,容易让学生接受,也巧妙地进步听力训练。)

Retell the plan

Teacher writes a thinking map about the second day plan to help students to retell, and help them to learn more about the expression about the places.

(设计意思:通过教师在黑板上的生成性板逐步完成思维导图,使学生再次认识并领会思维导图的制作,另外也强化对珠海名胜地点的表达。)

Activity 6 Help Jerry to make a plan for May 3rd.

Jerry: What are you going to do on May 3rd?
