1.Greetings&Warming up.

2.Leading in:Enjoying an English song.

(Purpose: To arouse the students’ interest and active classroom atmosphere.)

3.Presentation.

1) Learn the the new words:

fireman,doctor,nurse,policeman,farmer,driver

Show the students some pictures,and lead in the new words one by one.(Read after teacher by themselves,how-low voice,match the pictures to the words,give the words of the pictures,play games.)

Learn the new sentences:

What do you want to be? I want to be...

T:I’m a teacher.What do you want to be?

S:I want to be a... (Write on the whiteboard)

Teacher give an example,T ask Ss answer.(In limited time let the students read as quickly as they can.)

(Purpose: set real situation with flash cards to remember the key words and sentences easily.)

4.Practice:

1)Speaking practice.

First,the teacher gives an example.Secondly,let the students ask and answer each other.Thirdly,let the students ask and answer one by one.At last,act.

Listening Practice.

A.Listen to the tape①.First,tick out the words on the whiteboard,then answer the questions.(What does Li Wei/Amy do?)

B.Listen to the tape③.Tick the right answers and answer the question.(What does Yang Na want to be?)

(Purpose:Stimulating students interest in learning English in several games which is suitable for different ages to let students master the key words and sentence patterns of this lesson.)

5.Add-activity

1)Work in groups.Ask your friends:What do you want to be?Then fill in the blanks.

A.Head out the papers.

B.Let the students make a survey to finish the blanks.

C.Show the results.

Play the game

Choose a note and read it.What will you be?

(Purpose:Practice English in real life to achieve the goal of consolidation.Homework is no longer the burden of students but to consolidate students' knowledge and play a positive role on students' good habits of English learning and the ability of English thinking way.)
