教学过程:

Step 1 Warm-up

1. sing the song : In the future

2. Greetings and free talk.

Step 2 Revision

Talk about the main words and phrases in unit 1.Practise the present tense and the future tense.

tidy up/ wear glasses/ do exercises/get up early/read more English books/watch TV/have breakfast/all day/change homes/take some photos/be late for

Talk about Kitty’s, Peter’s ,Alice’s now and future.

Step 3 Presentation

Talk about the appearance and the job.

T:What will you do in the future?

Sx:I will be a doctor.

T: Why do you want to be a doctor?

Sx:Because I want to help people. ….

T: What will you be like?

Sx: I’ll be tall and strong. I won’t wear glasses…

(设计意图:教师通过一系列问题的提问与学生开展对话,帮助学生复习已学句型,学生通过示范进行两两对话并记录,完成活动1 )

Talk about the future ,what will they be like? What will they do? Where will they live?What kind of home will they want?教师通过出示图片,播放视频,给出学生相应的语言支撑,以及相对真实的语言体验,帮助他们用英语表达自己所设计的未来。

教师示范,出示英国小朋友Danny对未来家的设计。

Danny:Hello, I am Danny.I will live in (city).

My home will have three bedrooms, one study, one living room , a dining room and two bathrooms. It will be big and clean. There will be many beautiful flowers in it. I’ll like it very much.

T:Where will you live ? What will your home be like?

学生先说说自己自己梦想的家,并简要画的家的样子和房间的种类等。
