Step I Self-preparation

Explicit learning goals by showing the 2nd PPT.

(purpose: Goal guidance is important for students. The students can know about the main direction and the procedures of the whole class.)

Work in groups. Learn the new words on P27 and P28.

(Purpose: Working in groups is aimed to cultivate their habits of cooperation and helping each other. It’s also a good way to improve the excellent students’ and the common students’ skills. It’s a way of Stratification teaching.)

Check the results, show PPT from the 3th to the 10th.

(Purpose: In this part, student C and student D will have more opportunities to show their results. At the same time,the teacher will know how student A and B teach and how student C and D learn. What’s more, student C and D will take an active part in class.

What’s more, the students learn the new words step by step. First, they learn them mainly by writing, reading and translating; Second, they learn them by looking at the pictures and using them in the sentences. Third, listen and repeat then match the words with the pictures. The students practice the new words in listening, reading, writing and using ways during the whole procedure. If the students can use them, they will learn the words very well.)
