Warm up and lead in

1.T：Greeting. Good morning, boys and girls.

Ss: Good morning, Miss Zhan.

2. Let’s have a chant. Review some adj. Do the actions.

3. According to the chant. Show the pictures of pandas and ships. Activity 1. First, Listen and point. Then listen and say. At the same, learn the word “ship”.

4. T: Where is it?

S: This is Beijing.

T: Yes, this is Beijing. It’s very big. It’s very beautiful. (Learn word“beautiful”) So we can say “Beijing is a big city.”(Learn word“city”)

Task presentation

1. Show the pictures of Tower Bridge, Big Ben and Buckingham Palace.

T: Are they beautiful?

S: Yes, they are.

T: They are all in London. London is in the UK. London is a big city. (Title)
