Step 1: Greetings.
Step 2: Listen, point and say.
T: let’s look at the pictures (Show the pictures). Please guess what they are talking about.
Students discuss and show their answers.
Ask students to listen to the tape and learn the conversation.
Let some students imitate the conversation.
Step 3: Learn the text.
Teacher shows two questions about the text. Students listen to the tape and find the answers. Then teach the key words in the text to students. Let students listen to the tape again and read after the tape. Have some students role play the conversation.
