Step 1: Warm-up

Greetings:

Good moring. Children. Nice to meet you. Do you like playing games?

The guessing game.

Ask some question and share some food they like.

Step 2: Lead-in

T: Do you like popcorn? Ss: Yes.

T:Have some popcorn. Here you are.

Lead students to answer me: Thank you.

Step3: Presentation

1 . share the popcorn with kids.

T: No popcorn for me. I’m hungry. I’m sad and Pat is sad too.

Show the picture for Pat.

2. Watch a video of Pat’s story.

(1)Answer the question: What food appeared in Pat’s story?

(2)Check the answer: popcorn, hamburger, ice cream

3. No popcorn for Pat

(1)Let’s see what happened in the story about popcorn.

(2)Look at Pat’s face, and ask why is Pat feel hungry now?

-No popcorn.
