1.Teacher use mindmap to revise kangkang’s birthday party.(见课件)

T: When was Kangkang’s birthday party?

T: Where did he have the party?

T: Who came to the party?

T:What did they do at the party?

T:How was the party?

2.Ask students to retell kangkang’s birthday party.:

◆Step 2 Reading and completing

1.Complete KK’s diary with the correct fom of each verb

2. Check the answers (看课件)

3.Ask students to draw the mindmap according to the diary.

◆Step 3 Reading

T: We talked about our birthday just now. Do you know some more birthday food around the world? Let’s come to 2b to learn more.

1.Fast-reading

Read the passage fast and silently to find the general idea.(读取大意)

2.Task 1: Read the article about food traditions and complete the chart.

3.Task 2: Answer the questions. (学生活动:集中精力,快速抢答)
